Account Manager (Membership & Sponsorship)

Salary: c. £35K + bonus
This role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of Memcom’s membership and sponsorship accounts.
It focuses on building strong client relationships, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, delivering agreed benefits, and supporting retention and long-term value. The position centres on service excellence, coordination and administration rather than new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Account Management
- Manage onboarding for new members, ensuring a structured and welcoming introduction
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for member queries and support
- Maintain regular engagement to encourage active participation and service usage
- Support renewals by ensuring members clearly understand and receive value
Sponsorship Delivery & Administration
- Coordinate delivery of sponsorship agreements and benefits across events, digital channels and publications
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, deliverables and timelines
- Serve as a key contact for sponsors on operational matters
- Support renewals through professional and consistent account management
Contract Management & Compliance
- Maintain clear documentation of contracts, commitments and key dates
- Track fulfilment of sponsorship and membership deliverables
- Support invoicing and ensure commercial documentation is accurate and up to date
Reporting & ROI Support
- Produce timely reports demonstrating delivery and outcomes for sponsors
- Collate engagement and activity data to support ROI discussions
- Contribute to improving reporting processes and templates
- Share insights to strengthen membership and sponsorship offerings
CRM & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate CRM records for members and sponsors
- Track engagement, contract status and key interactions
- Collaborate with events, marketing, recruitment and consultancy teams
- Support live events where required
- Contribute flexibly within a small team environment
