BOARD NOMINATIONS
The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland invites nominations for election to its Board, with terms commencing 1 July 2026.
Nomination process
This election will be conducted under CGIUKI’s revised competency‑based nomination and assessment model, designed to ensure a fair, transparent and skills‑aligned process for all candidates.
Two vacancies are open for election in 2026. Three current Board members will stand for re‑election and will also be considered through the competency screening process.
Eligibility
Applications are welcome from:
🔵 Fellows, Associates and Affiliated Members of CGIUKI;
🟠 Non-members with relevant skills and experience (subject to compliance with regulatory composition requirements).
We are especially interested in applications from those with a background in:
🤖 Technology & Digital Transformation
📢 Branding & Communications
but welcome applicants with varied skill-sets.
Nominations and applications are being accepted until midday BST on Wednesday 6 May.
Desirable attributes: early-career professional and/or Non-Executive Board/Trustee/Committee experience
