Lead a global membership organisation. Influence international policy. Shape the future of nuclear transport.
The World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI) is seeking an exceptional leader to represent the interests of its members at the highest levels of international policy, regulation and industry.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected global membership organisation operating at the intersection of diplomacy, public policy, international trade and nuclear transport. Representing WNTI at the United Nations, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other international forums, you will help shape discussions that influence the safe, secure and sustainable transport of nuclear and radioactive materials worldwide.

- A track record of shaping policy, building consensus and delivering outcomes.
- Strong commercial, financial and governance leadership.
- A genuine understanding of how membership organisations create value, engage stakeholders and balance the needs of diverse member communities.
- The ability to develop strategy while also ensuring effective operational delivery.

Ideal backgrounds include
- Nuclear, energy, transport or logistics sectors.
- International/national trade associations, professional bodies or other membership organisations.
- Public affairs, policy, regulatory affairs or government relations.
- Experience engaging with organisations such as the IAEA, IMO, UN agencies or national regulators.
Personal qualities
You will be curious, entrepreneurial and motivated by the opportunity to make a difference on a global stage. You will enjoy building relationships, navigating complexity and bringing diverse stakeholders together to achieve common goals.
Whether your background is in the nuclear sector, international policy or membership leadership, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine organisational leadership with international influence and advocacy.
If you are looking for a role where you can shape policy, represent an industry globally and lead a respected international organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
