Fundraising Manager (Major Gifts & Philanthropy)

Full-time, Permanent

Hybrid (3 days from office)

Salary starting at £46,474

Whether you've worked at a leading drama school, conservatoire, theatre or cultural institution, this is an opportunity to take your fundraising career to the next level. Join one of the world's most respected performing arts institutions and help secure transformational support from major philanthropists, alumni and advocates.

Memcom is delighted to be partnering with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to recruit a Fundraising Manager who will play a key role in securing transformational philanthropic support during an exciting period of growth.

As one of the world's leading drama schools, Royal Central has been shaping the future of theatre, film and performance for over 120 years. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders, accomplished alumni, patrons and major supporters, helping to secure gifts that will directly support students, world-class facilities and the next generation of creative talent.

You'll manage your own portfolio of major donors and prospects, cultivating relationships, developing compelling cases for support, delivering exceptional stewardship and creating memorable donor experiences. From exclusive events and behind-the-scenes access to bespoke cultivation opportunities, you'll ensure every interaction reflects the creativity, ambition and excellence that Royal Central is known for.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable building relationships as they are writing persuasive proposals and making high-value asks. Experience working in philanthropy, major gifts or development within theatre, higher education, the arts or another cultural organisation. Just as importantly, you'll understand how to engage high-net-worth individuals with confidence, discretion and authenticity.

This is a rare opportunity to combine a passion for the arts with strategic fundraising, joining an organisation whose graduates have shaped stages and screens across the world.

If you thrive in creative environments, enjoy working with inspiring people and want to make a lasting impact on the future of performing arts education, we'd love to hear from you. To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to: simone@memcom.org.uk
