The World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI) brings together organisations involved in the safe and secure transport of nuclear and radioactive materials worldwide. These materials underpin many aspects of everyday life – from clean, low-carbon power generation to vital medical treatments and diagnostics. WNTI supports this global community through collaboration, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that the benefits of these essential materials can be delivered safely and reliably wherever they are needed.
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Executive to join their small, dynamic team on a maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on digital content creation, has excellent organisational skills and enjoys shaping engaging communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the WNTI website (WordPress).
- Produce and distribute the monthly member newsletter.
- Grow and maintain WNTI’s LinkedIn presence.
- Design simple graphics and visuals using Canva (or similar).
- Create clear, engaging content in line with WNTI’s brand.
- Support promotion of events, webinars and workshops.
- Monitor engagement and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
About You:
We are open to candidates with either proven experience in marketing or communications, or a forward-thinking graduate looking for their first long-term position within a respected institute. If you can bring a dynamic energy coupled with strong written skills, and fresh ideas on how to improve WNTI’s comms, then this would be for you. You must be confident managing social media channels (particularly LinkedIn), and using WordPress and basic design tools, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a global organisation that plays a key role in enabling safe and sustainable solutions for the future.
Benefits:
9% contributory pension, private healthcare, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
