We're seeking a Business Development Manager to support the development of a professional organisation’s membership. The successful candidate will drive membership numbers by bringing on new affiliated organisations, growing relationships with larger companies, as well as focusing on individual members.
The role focuses on managing the strategy of acquiring new organisational members, enhancing a pipeline of potential targets through outreach and networking. The successful candidate is expected to work with product managers to create suitable value propositions, negotiate agreements with companies and bring on large membership subscriptions.
Our client is a not-for-profit professional body that represents its members across the UK as well as abroad. It promotes industry policy with ministers and governmental agencies and offers L&D / educational opportunities to clients on an individual membership basis.
We are looking for someone with experience in business development, new business sales and relationship management. Generating new business is key, implementing sales strategies for long-term growth, networking and using CRM + other tools to new business pipelines.
