Memcom is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, the Circular Economy Institute (CEI), for an experienced Business Development Partner to drive growth across a newly launched suite of sustainability-focused products.
This is a senior, commercial role for someone who thrives on building partnerships, opening markets and turning purpose-led products into revenue. You’ll lead business development for CEI’s membership, accreditation, e-learning and business recognition offers - helping organisations transition to more sustainable, circular practices while growing CEI’s market presence.
The role
- Win new business and grow revenue across CEI’s product portfolio
- Build routes to market and strategic partnerships
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close
- Grow and nurture relationships with employers, public sector bodies and education providers
- Represent CEI at industry events and forums
- Track performance, report results and shape go-to-market strategy
About you
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales or partnerships
- Strong B2B sales and relationship-building skills
- Commercial, self-motivated and results-driven
- Confident working independently and influencing senior stakeholders
- Passion for sustainability or the circular economy (sector experience desirable, not essential)
- Happy to travel; full driving licence required
