We are looking for a candidate with high level governance experience to lead a small governance unit that was recently established at a renowned chartered body based in Central London.
A global chartered body seeking strategic input for governance and policy setting. This requires a senior figure with wide ranging experience within the professional membership body/association sector. A confident individual with a strong sense of leadership and direction, with the ability to start a critical function from scratch, aligning the unit with the organisation's values.
The role is varied, important and influential for the institute. Handling complex legal foundations, working closely with the Board, SLT and attending the AGM, setting procedures and governance policies, acting as secretary for committees, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, whilst also growing links with wider groups and overseas partners.
