We are seeking a proactive and creative Events & Marketing Manager to join a small, dynamic team in a leading membership-based organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional with marketing skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of high-profile projects.
As Events & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a two flagship events, including the annual conferences and award dinners, plus other member engagement activities including breakfasts and roundtables. You will take the lead on logistics and communications, working closely with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to ensure each event is delivered to the highest standard.
Alongside events, you will manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to boost engagement and awareness. From crafting compelling content to running targeted email campaigns, you will play a key role in promoting events and the organisation’s wider initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of corporate events, from concept to delivery
- Coordinating logistics including venues, catering, AV, and guest communications
- Liaising with speakers (often senior executives), sponsors, and suppliers
- Developing budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations
- Creating engaging marketing content for the events across digital, print, and social platforms
- Executing email campaigns and optimising event webpages
- Monitoring performance metrics and reporting on outcomes
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in managing a variety of events
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management abilities
- A creative flair for marketing with experience across multiple channels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/database knowledge (e.g. Salesforce) is desirable
- A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach
